Lovely approachable staff. Instructor who I respect and happy to teach my daughter. Having horses myself for 40 years I am the worst kind of parent at a riding school. But I can honestly say I fully appreciate the quality of teaching. The fact there is outdoor and indoor facilities to ride and have lessons in is a bonus. The horses and ponies are fit and healthy and not dead to the leg or gone hard in the mouth. A reflection of good Instructors who put the animals welfare and comfort first. Too many places encourage kicking on or mouth pulling when a child is not ready to come off lead rain and unbalanced. Hense the animals mouth gets pulled on and their backs can get damaged. My daughter had to come to a riding school after breaking her back on one of our animals, and had to relearn to ride and gain her confidence back. I love the fact I can call or see someone to book a lesson. We have been going to Deanswood for nearly a year now. Thank you for everything. Seeing my daughter's confidence coming back and getting to ride well looked after animals I have not had to muck out myself is added extra .
