Shake Express

I've been coming here since I first spotted them (had they just opened?) in 2009, and since it was taken over in 2011. I've long since moved away from Braintree but I come back every couple of months and, without fail, get myself a large Oreo milkshake. Over a decade on, it's the benchmark I rate all other shakes against. Delicious shakes from a cute shop, with friendly service every time I've ever stepped in. A great family business and long may they continue to succeed.

This place is to die for. I dont go nearly as often as I would like, its just too naughty - its that special treat that you cant get enough of. Choose anything on the board or create your own, very obliging, all made fresh there and then; there are even treats for dogs, too!

What a find this was! Given the weather I was very much in the mood for a smoothie. I googled the nearest place (I was at Freeport) and Shake Away came up - such a lovely little place, really lovely people and they made me exactly what I wanted, even though it wasnt listed! Very happy customer and I will be back!
