Its wasnt the best time to visit as the food menu is yet to start. Should start by mid May. But we went for the wine and it never disappoints.

An absolutely beautiful place. Adgestone Vineyard is a hidden gem on the Isle of Wight definitely worth visiting. We stayed on site in the beautiful Olde Cellar Door cottage. The owners Russel & Phillipa were extremely helpful and friendly - nothing was too much trouble and the wine tour & tasting we did was very informative and enjoyable. Sitting at the top of the vines, listening to the goats and chickens whilst sipping a glass of delicious local (blue!) sparkling wine as the sun went down felt like paradise. We will definitely return - especially as there is live music on the garden stage in the summer. A fantastic experience all round.

A fantastic visit with friendly staff, a great shop and bar. Bought the uk' s only blue wine and the arson fire and can't wait to sample. Worth a trek down the narrow lane to try.

A great visit to the vineyard, a blustery walk round the vines that blew the cobwebs away. Great commentary as we went round, stunning views from the top corner and a welcome bench! Friendly owners who were willing to chat in the shop and cellars. Would recommend to everyone visiting the Isle. Thank you, see you next year.

Check before you come if you want to eat. We arrived after a fairly long journey (for the iow) having planned to come for a tour, tasting and lunch, only to find they're not doing food. They hadn't said on their website. Apparently as a tourist you're supposed to know they don't serve food when it's cold (it was not that cold - 13 degrees and sunny). Also watch out if you walk here from the bus stop as Google maps takes you on a sketchy main road bit. Raised this with the vineyard and they said they'd decided not to warn people about this on their website. Helpful. We decided not to stay as we didn't want to drink without eating. Really messed our day up, frankly. Was really looking forward to it. Big disappointment.
