Waited in Bradford centre for 50 minutes for a bus to buttershaw. The buses are timetabled to leave every 15 minutes but they regularly cancel after 5pm causing mayhem in rush hour for workers trying to get home

Absolute garbage if I was as bad at my job as the drivers are at theirs I would get sacked but if you have somewhere to go but it doesn't matter what time you get there then this is the service for you

I nearly got crushed whilst walking on a pavement by one of the buses from this company nearly a year ago. The bus driver failed to assess the tail swing of the bus correctly when turning around a tight corner. Anyone who has a license to drive a large vehicle receives extensive training in this specific skill. Anyway, as the bus turned, the rear of the bus blocked the footpath and continued to narrow the gap between bus and wall of the building next to the pavement. I was walking on the footpath and realising that the bus was closing in towards the wall and the driver probably couldn't see me (similar situation to blind spot when driving) quickly retreated. When I had moved away and looked back, I saw that the bus had blocked a large part of the footpath, including where I had been walking, leaving around a 40cm gap between bus and wall. Anyway, this all took place directly in front of CCTV. I complained to Bradford Council first, informing them by email that I had seen this happen before when I had been further down the road. They appeared to be uninterested and said to complain to the bus company. So, I complained to First Bus by email and they said sorry. Anyway, today at around 3.10pm, I saw the 616 bus driving over the same part of the pavement again, this time the front of the bus blocking the pavement. The bus driver braked quite abruptly, appeared to hesitate and then continued to drive again, still blocking the pavement. This time, I saw that there was a small child, around 6-8yrs old walking up the pavement straight after the bus had moved off and on to the road after turning the corner.
