A & B Tilers

I have only given one star because the system wouldn't let me give no stars, I phoned this business twice and was told twice that someone would call back, needless to say no one bothered to return the calls, I regard this as not only unprofessional but downright ignorant.

After going out for three or four quotes, and coming across unreliable people in one way or another, I finally got in touch with Darren of A&B Tilers. He responded promptly and efficiently and came to survey the job when he said he would. I was immediately impressed with his personality, his no nonsense approach and his expertise in assessing what needed to be done, which wasn't straightforward and included design work. He gave me a fair quotation which I accepted on the spot. He gave me a start date and kept to it, even advising his ETA by text on every work day. He and his son Oliver were meticulous in the preparation and didn't lay a tile until he was fully satisfied - and this on a NEW concrete floor. His layout of the design was equally meticulous and, once started, the actual tiling was carried out speedily and to a high standard; and believe me, I am VERY particular and difficult to please. It was easy to see why he is in such demand, not only locally but all over the country. I count myself fortunate that I came across him and would highly recommend him if you want work of a high quality at a reasonable price with no 'flannel' and 'fast talk' - AND he kept to his price with no 'extras' added in the final reckoning, as some do! I have no association with him other than a VERY satisfied customer and next time I need some tiling he will be the only one I call ... Thank you Darren and Oliver. Stephen B.

The whole of my ground floor I wanted tiled. I looked around for many tilers and got 5 quotes. I went with A&B as there quote seemed the most fair for the work they were going to do and they were very honest with what needed to be done. I found Darren approachable and trustworthy. I was not disappointed! in fact, I was more than satisfied. The work they did was amazing!! I highly recommend them and I will definitely be using them in the future. Their work was fast, clean and of a high quality. They went that extra mile! Thank you Craig Sugden
