After smashing some 70/80s Flemish glass in an old door I got in touch with the great French man who loves stained glass. He kindly went to look for some and after a short while came back with a full window. He carefully cut the old window open and prepared the glass to the size I needed. He even cleaned the glass for me and wrapped it in bubble wrap. We also had a nice chat and I found out he was a biker with the same bike as me. He is a busy guy but made all the time in the world for me and my piece of Flemish glass. The glass was cut accurately and fitted first time. He even gave me tips on fitting. This guy and business deserves more praise but I am running out of room to write. Lets just say first rate guy, first rate help. Merci mon ami.

An amazing collection of Victorian and Edwardian glass being recycled into new glass panes.

I went to check out the bits of glass for sale to use iny own stained glass projects, it was like glass heaven!!! So many bits of different kinds of glass, most of it reclaimed from old windows. The owners were very friendly and told me to pick out what I wanted, then they checked what I'd chosen as some bits were valuable antique which they needed to use themselves so they couldn't sell me those, but I got some beautiful pieces in various colours. Well worth a visit!
