THIEFS BEWARE DUE ME 1200! I am a honest Home removals and Pick up delivery company Van Demand Uk call us if need our service :) so was delivering solar panels for a number of jobs. Then they stopped paying we trusted them and then afterwards became clear delaying and no paymebts for 4x Deliveries throughout Yorkshire. So we are wage and fuel out of pocket and the value of job too. Im sure karma will have a way of balancing the people in this company who have theft from multiple people.

This company took our deposit, plus 4000 to secure the price of the solar panels and we have been let down with job. This has taken 9 months to be told they cannot do the job... 10kw solar panel system with storage batteries. We are now left chasing them for over 7000. I do not recommend Solar Made Simple.

Initial contact was very good & installation was ok communication after being paid has not been great. Had a couple of issues. Left messages texts & emails. Still no reply. Perhaps has gone out of business & Google hasn't caught up.

It appears this company has fallen on hard times and is unable to provide good quality customer service. After a good deal of research and obtaining 3 separate quotes, I decided to go with them - they weren't the cheapest but I liked their business. I paid my deposit back in May, and that's when the problems started. They asked for a substantial amount of money upfront to secure my products (alarm bells ringing), however there was a global shortage of products, so seemed like a good chance to 'avoid the hike' as they put it. Several months later they failed to turn up on the 1st install day. I chased them up and was given the excuse that they had no products (so surely they could've informed me they weren't turning up). We rescheduled for 2 weeks later, and again they failed to turn up without notification. I drove down to their offices to speak in person. I was surprised to find that the premises has no livery or signage whatsoever, not even a buzzer with the company name on. I located Rory and explained that I needed this job completing asap since it was already months overdue, and the scaffolding had been erected around my house weeks ago. A couple more failed appointments later the panels were finally installed (not the type that I was quoted for), and several weeks after that the battery was installed. The system was commissioned on the 10th August, however I am still awaiting the full paperwork including MCS certificate which is required to claim SEG payments, which is not forthcoming; and as another reviewer has posted - looks like I won't get it from them. I've raised this issue with the MCS governing body. Overall it took 4 months to get the system built, but I am still without the MCS certificate. Their website is blocked, so it looks like they can't afford to run it. Their facebook and twitter accounts haven't been updated in several months and have all comments deleted. Companies House has them showing as Account Overdue. I would steer well clear of this company until they are back on their feet, and hope any customers currently engaged are fully refunded, or end up with the system they have paid for.
