Grand Cru Restaurant

Our first visit. I have heard so many good comments about this wonderful restaurant, the food, atmosphere, service and the history of its development and owners. My expectations were high: I'm pleased to say I/we were not disappointed. On arrival my eyes were greeted with a very stylish presentation of colours, reminiscent of the Art Decor period of the amazing 1920s. Firstly the service was faultless credit to the owners and training provided to the relatively young staff - well done to all. On to the food, well proportioned from starter to desert, presentation, exciting the taste buds. Food was cooked with delicious flavours developing throughout with time to relax during each course. A very enjoyable time, looking forward to our next visit and trying the other dishes. Excellent ten out of ten from me.

Parking: There is a small, very small car park, but a long as you don't mind waking, there is few parking, in places, along the street. Wheelchair accessibility: There was a wheel chair ramp

We ate here on Valentine's night 2023. We were made to feel welcome as soon as we walked in and the customer service throughout the whole evening was excellent. As for the food .... well, every mouthful was a joy and the wine pairings were superb. We gave eaten here before and will return again in the future. Several friends have eaten here on our recommendation and none have had anything but praise for the food and service. Brilliant!
