I went to City Sound Studios to do some session work on guitar and ended up on vocals too. Both Danny and the artist I was working with were complimentary and encouraging when it's not my main focus.
The studios are really neat and tidy with a large desk room with a big sofa where you can input directly or through amps. There's also a live room which can be used for acoustic instruments, singing and drums as well as using electric amps too.
I'd highly recommend the studios to anyone. We saw a young child leaving the studio as we arrived and they'd had a great time too.
