Too many people judging without knowing the person/people. These days all people want is to be served fast because 1. They parked on double yellow lines or 2 they running late in their own lives.. Perfect service. Respectable people. What more do you need.

I went in the the other day and the elderly woman behind the counter first took her time to come out from the back and then after waiting for a bit of time she took my parcels and asked if I wanted a proof of return which i then answered yes to which I firstly felt was a weird thing to say because why wouldnt I want a receipt and then she tried scanning my parcels I had quite a few like 10 she said that they werent scanning after trying the first 3 so instead she typed the postcode in the system without scanning the tracking barcode and when I confronted her about this took me a while to realise she started to say that the first 3 didnt scan so I saw no point in trying the rest because it takes time and we dont get paid for this, so now I was left with a receipt for a parcel only showing that its been sent to the post code but no tracking even though I paid Royal Mail for a tracked label. I then asked for the parcels back because they were no good to me if theyre not tracked as I paid extra for it she kept refusing saying its my fault for not bringing proper labels but then eventually she handed them back to me and I drove an extra 10 minutes to lillycroft post office which is where I got them sent off with no issue and they scanned, to be fair to that woman one of them out of the 10 didnt but according to her the first 3 didnt so she didnt bother scanning the rest. Ive read a lot of bad reviews about this post office but decided to ignore them as sometimes people can overreact a little bit with an issue but this lady is truly lazy and rude never smiles if I could I would rate this 0 stars, but asides from that my message to the owner would be to hire a more qualified person at the till who knows how to operate the machine properly and understands the importance of customer service because you can see many people have had similar issues and I can say right now I will go to the further post office from now and wont be returning there any time soon
