During a time of utter fear and an incredible sense of worry for my lady one would assume contacting Pennine Breast Screening would instil a sense of help and guidance. Some direction. However it was the complete opposite. Utterly rude and belittling. Unhelpful. I STRONGLY suggest an alternative screening service. Shocking.

Got called back for a follow up mamagram after something suspicious seen on routine screening. Was a bit shocked after having 4 previous ones with no problems so immediately felt very frightened. Fortunately, Im one of the lucky ones but cannot thank the the lovely radiographer, nurses and consultant for their sympathetic, caring and thoughtful manner in the way they dealt with me. Nothing was too much trouble to make me feel at ease. They took the time to explain thoroughly what was happening and why I had been called back and very informative, allowing me to ask as many questions as I needed. Thank you all for everything. Keep up the excellent work you do.

My mum had a mammogram and needed further assistance so was sent to st Lukes breast clinic. The staff there were so kind and reassuring, unlike the place she visited prior to this. Its so nice when people appreciate what could be going through someones head who has previously suffered with cancer. All clear though thankfully! Yay!

I attended the screening unit on the 14th October, I am hard of hearing so it with the mask wearing it was quite difficult but the nurses made sure I could hear them and knew what they were doing. I was treated with respect and courtesy. This was my second time at the unit and although embarrassing this could save your life for the sake of minutes.
