Hopkins Butchers

Hopkins are famous (round these parts) for their pork pies which are amazing, but they have taken it to the next level with their steak pies. Super value as well, a family size steak pie for 7 that can feed at least 4 people. The flaky pastry, tender meat and delicious gravy are perfect.

Truly amazing pork pies travel nearly 5 miles but they are really worth it 10 out of 10 putting my order in for stand pies which is just as good

These are the best pork pies, not just in Bradford, not in York, not in Yorkshire but in my, and my families, opinion they are the best pies in ENGLAND. We travel from York every Christmas eve and have done for the past 35 years. Mainly to buy the stand pies, but we also stock up with meat products as well. I didn't think it possible but this year 2022 the pies somehow seemed even more magically tasty and the pastry so wonderfully crunchy so much that me, my wife and the grandkids sat in the car and devoured a 2lb stand pie in the car outside the butchers. All I can say is that I am glad Hopkins Butchers is not in our village otherwise I would be the size of Paul, Ian and Jordan put together. Well done guys and here's to the next 35 years.
