I've ordered from Applelec in the past. Put an enquiry in for 2 led trough lights at 840mm wide. Came back with a ridiculous price, 3 times more than a reputable competitor. The sales guy offered no reason other than they produce a superior light. I disagree. The other company has an excellent reputation and have reasonable and transparent pricing. I won't even bother getting a quote from this company in the future.

Ordered stainless steel signs from this company with a value of over 10,000 received the order late even do we specified that we needed them by a specific date as the company we were installing them for was having a launch of new name and it was being covered by local media and radio, needles to say the signs arrived 4 days after the opening day and left us looking very bad then to top it all off the signage was of a very very poor standard and would cut the fingers you from the sides of the letters when you pick them up, some of the brackets were broken on the letters and had to be re-riveted by us the led lights were meant to be daisy chained but they were not and we had to re wire all signage. I could go on but just to say contacted Stephen in Applelec who was our order manager to convey our dismay with all the problems like wiring, broken letters, bad welding, not drilled for installation, no markings on wall templates and the signs not as specified on original order conformation. Have called and email on many occasions but they do not return our calls or email, so to this just letting people know I would not recommend this company to anyone they are most unprofessional especially when it comes to customer satisfaction, my problem is I paid them in full up-front wont make this mistake again. If I could give this company a - 5 I would.
