City Of Bradford Metropolitan District Council

I have nothing positive to say about BCC unfortunately. They charge 100% community charge for empty houses - yet for a single person occupant, you can pay only 75%. Whenever asking for their help - such as parking issues, I am informed there isnt the funding. But come start of the financial year, I am told by Hinchcliffe that that council continues to provide all services as normal. We should receive a rebate not an increase.

Me myself I live in Doncaster and my council housing department St leger homes of Doncaster suck big time . However I needed my front uPVC door and frame replacing and St leger homes of Doncaster used Bradford council to do the job and I must say I'm very impressed with the work and attitude of the Bradford city council staff who did the job.

Had numerous of problems with Bradford Council and not one of them have ever been resolved. I ring up to set payment plans in place for my council tax bills, pay my bill on time every month.. a lot too to say I have a young baby at home to look after. But they continue to threaten me with court if I dont pay, even though I make payments every month of the exact amount I should be paying. This doesnt make any sense to me and seems like the staff who deal with this dont update their information on their system hence why I keep getting threatened even though Im making payments. Dont even get me started with the rude staff who threaten 22 year old women with prison when they have a young children. Constant problems with them and it always seems to be problems on their end.
