Sofabed Barn

Recieved within the time allocated, contact was great and delivery guys were also fab. We upgraded the mattress on our sofa bed, we love it, and the fact you get the two cushions with it is a bonus. One if the brackets which hold the wooden slats was broken and Michael was quick to send us a replacement. We would order fro sofabed barn again.

I have to apologise to Sofabed Barn and update from my previous review that did not do them justice. As I had acknowledged previously the quality of the sofabed is super and it is very sturdy. My problem in dealing with its sturdiness was in using the mechanism incorrectly to return bed to sofa position.They kindly had someone come in person, check that everything had been put together correctly then demonstrate and supervise me as I did it - using the corrected technique. Its all makes sense now. Just one small step for a woman made all the difference! What amazing service! I have recommended them to friends and have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone looking for a quality sofabed at an incomparable price.

The customer service here is fantastic. Great bunch of people , making fantastic sofa's for everybody to enjoy . You can check out all the sofa's and various other items at there manufacturing site in Bradford. Via an appointment, which is usually just a friendly phone call a day before. Really fantastic quality sofa beds . Please pay them a visit before buying from somewhere else . You won't be disappointed.

We purchased a sofa bed for our narrowboat and received excellent service, we found out they also do cushion covers made to measure so got a quote and had them made. Great quality and a perfect fit, thank you to Steve and the team we eventually got there and it was worth the wait.

Until I attempted to restore my Aylesbury sofa bed from bed to sofa I would have rated it more highly but Im afraid the impossibility for me of following the lift up/push down directions for the mechanism has been extremely disappointing. Delivery good, sturdiness and quality of the sofa bed good but the need to dismantle it, i.e. remove the arms and the futon mattress to restore it to seating mode defeats the point of having it. In fact, on my own, I cant even manage the mattress back on because it is so heavy and not being a regular mattress it doesnt have grab handles. Video demonstrations make it look easy - without the mattress. I am long in years, short in stature and to describe the resistance as a bit stiff with the mattress on is understatement in the extreme. It can only be a two-person job. Should I in my 70s invite my friend in her 80s to stay over as long as she can help manhandle the mattress off and back on? Or is it remotely possible that our combined ages of 161 would give us enough strength to manage the exercise? I greatly regret choosing this particular model. Beware, if like me you cannot rely on having a Hercules to hand.
