Bought lubna foods supreme chick peas with 12 months of date left opened the can and the smell was terrible .contacted lubnafoods by email no response.

Can't praise these guys enough, great products and excellent customer service! I've been going there for the last 30 years (since I was a kid), they've grown massively as a business, Alhamdulillah and they still recognise and look after their customers, big or small.... always helpful with trolleys, loading cars, discounts, and the management guys make you feel so welcome.....never fail to say hello or ask if you need help even when they are so busy! Definitely one of the best wholesalers in the country!

I purchased ALTAJ Saffron for 2.99, sealed and beautiful package provided by LUBNA FOOD LTD., the colour red and nice, but the taste and smell are absolutely different from an original Saffron. I came back to the shop and asked the manager to refund it as Saffron is expensive for its taste and smell. He told me as you opened it we can't accept it to return. Also he said" if you want the original one you shall pay 50 for it" ( it is not correct). We use Saffron few times a week in our food so he has no idea what am I talking about the quality of Saffron. We buy good 1 gram saffron same price from Iranian and Kurdish shops always. I have a right to a refund under the Sale of Goods Act 1979, because this item doesnt match its description. Sylhet's customer service about zero. I don't recommend this shop at all.
