Ive had a few different instructors, so I know a good (and bad) one when I meet one! John is definitely one of the good ones. Really calm and patient and took the time to understand how I learn so that he could make things feel relatable and understandable for me (and we had a laugh whilst doing it!) I passed first time but genuinely believe that if I hadnt done my lessons with greengates automatic, I would never have even got the point where I felt ready to take my test. Highly recommend.

Passed my test first time yesterday with 0 faults - all thanks to John! Having tried a couple of different instructors previously & not enjoying the experience (manual), I thought I would try Automatic. Thankfully, I came across Greengates Automatic... John was my instructor & has been fantastic during every lesson... always on time, reliable & focused on the lesson. I always felt at ease during the lessons because of John's calm & friendly approach to teaching, explained things clearly so it really helped me to not only understand how to drive but also be aware of the 'bigger picture' when on the roads. John... I can't thank you enough for your time, expertise & making my lessons so enjoyable. I wish you (and your team) all the best & every success for the future! If you're looking for Automatic lessons - I would highly recommend :)
