For an assessment centre it surprised me that there was no disabled parking or even normal parking. We had to park our car in the car park and cross the busy road to get to the centre, I'm not very fast and use a walking stick so felt really uneasy about walking across such a busy road but there was nowhere else to park. Couldn't see a disabled toilet anywhere near the front desk so I would guess it is further into the building, I would think they have disabled toilets but couldn't say for sure. There was also a stair lift for access to the upper floor, though there are assessment rooms on the ground floor. Water facilities at the front desk and plenty of seating. Staff were good at the desk and kept me informed of how long I would be waiting as they were running behind. Nicer assessment centre than the one in Leeds, my assessor seemed to understand my issues and was over all friendly and not pushy about the physical tests which caused me pain to do. Having the assessment is a very stressful and upsetting experience for me usually but my assessor was lovely which made the experience less strenuous.
