Me and my partner have had a great experience working with the entire team at Rhodes and Walker and couldnt have asked for better support from everyone weve interacted with! Everyone is super friendly and professional. Nothing is too much trouble and they're always willing to chat through any of our concerns on the phone or face to face in their office. Their answers are always speedy and working with them on our mortgage took a lot of weight and pressure off our shoulders. We really appreciate everyones patience with our questions throughout the process as we had little knowledge about what we needed to do as first-time buyers!

Absolutely fantastic experience from start to finish. Very competitive quote for work which was stuck to with no hidden extras. All the work was done to a high standard and at a pace that far exceeded our expectations. All our enquiries were dealt with by people we had been introduced to and we had direct, thoughtful replies within a few working hours. We would not hesitate to recommend this company or to use them again. We completed our purchase on the day we identified as ideal right at the start of the process and before 9:30 am. We have bought more than 20 houses between us and never had such an easy journey with a conveyancer.

Julia has made my first house buying experience run so smoothly. If I had any questions, she would always answer them and always kept me up to date with what was happening. Cannot fault Julia at all, shes a credit to the company and I would definitely recommend Julia to my family and friends. Excellent from start to finish.

Myself and my partner had the worst experience with this company, they pushed for the 300 payment prior to the mortgage going through, framing it as though it needed to be paid immediately which weve learnt is not the case since, at first refused a refund when everything fell through, even though theyd only done ID checks, they then didnt even know the house sale had fallen through, and after some back and forth they offered a 149.77 refund half of what wed paid, saying I hope this is acceptable which of course losing 150 for nothing is not really great, they said if the next buyers went with them theyd issue a further 114.41, which left us in the lurch, after exactly a month nothing had been refunded to us so I chased it up, and finally theyve refunded us 264.18, whilst this is the majority of money back Ive had to pursue this far more than I should for a payment which we were pressed for early, and frankly, as a business, refunding us the full sum of 300 would have been the right thing to do as whether the aforementioned ID checks were completed or not, but I dont see this company as a business with the integrity to do the right thing, and wouldnt recommend them to anyone, clearly wanted a quick buck and took advantage of the fact that we are not legal people and dont know everything about the procedure of buying a house and how it should go, or the terminology they use. Would not recommend, if youre a first time buyer I recommend asking friends who they used and their experience and who theyd recommend, and avoid companies like this whove bought their recommendation from the housing company. Also to add, in other reviews Ive noticed Rachaels name flag up in a less than positive light and can confirm that on my final phone call with her she tried giving me attitude and was very off hand on the call, dont know who she thinks she is but that attitude will come back to bite. Not one apology for having left the refund for a month, just an excuse of I didnt want to give you a partial refund even though at this point the discussion had only ever confirmed we were definitely due 149.77, so why would you not refund it? Ridiculous excuse, told me my file had been on her desk on a month, what a joke. Didnt think to update me on it though or even let me know she was holding out as she didnt want to process a partial refund, handled so poorly, and to cap it off with the attitude she displayed on the phone sums up the company for me.

Very professional, conscientious and efficient. Assisted my elderly mother with her long distance house sale while being sensitive to her needs. Quietly undertook the necessary work involved in a complex frustrating situation while keeping us in the picture - and without the need for prompting.
