West Yorkshire Garage Conversions

We have been trying to get some quotes from several useless LOCAL builders etc since October 2022 for a shower room within an annex building / garage - all promised the earth but couldn't get a quote out of any of them. So in January 2023 having failed on the the local option route - a friend recommended Lee and his team (Glen & Sam) i phoned up on Thursday night at about 7pm spoke to Lee who said Sam was in the area on Friday - if l when on line and requested a quote straight away he would be there in the morning. - so i did. Sam visited and said a quote would be emailed over on Monday morning (i laughed and said if i got one in a month i would be happy). Monday morning i got a call from Sam who apologised and said the quote wouldn't arrive till tomorrow (Tuesday) - that morning it arrived - after a bit of tweaking / negotiation i agreed the price. work started on the 20th February and finished middle of march. OVER THE MOON WITH ALL THAT WAS DONE AND COMMUNICATIONS THROUGH THE PROCESS - EXCELLENT COMPANY - HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. hope you haven't fallen asleep reading this but wanted to tell the full story A++ ps they do like a biscuit or two !!!

We're really pleased to have had our garage converted by West Yorkshire Garage Conversions. They made the whole process a very positive experience. They were punctual, friendly and provided progress updates at the start and end of each day. West Yorkshire Garage Conversions were superb! I would highly recommend Lee, Glenn and the entire team. They provided a free call out and quote beforehand and were gracious enough to supply us with planning advice, where it might be needed. They measured up the area and quickly supplied us with a quote, which up against other competitors of this nature, could not be beaten for what we required. Due to council planning issues, they were extremely flexible on the start date during which Lee supported and advised us throughout the time before the build even began. Plus, we were updated on new building regulations that would be met when our build began, at no extra cost! During the build, the team were efficient, friendly and accommodating due to the fact of having to work from home. Whoever was on site at the end of the day, would give a summary of work that has been completed as well as what would be completed the following day too. Also they would inform us of who was going to be onsite that day so it helped us get to know the team really well and build up a good rapport. The team always ensured that the area around the build was tidied and hoovered to ensure we could use the space around it. On the occasion a problem occurred, Lee or a member of the team were quick to resolve it on the same day and on one occasion came out late evening to fix a loss of power to our boiler, at no extra cost! The whole build was completed within a couple of weeks to a high, respectable standard. What's more, 3 months after completion, we had the floor fitted and the door would not fit, Lee and Glenn came to the rescue, resized and fitted the door, at no extra cost! A massive thanks to Lee, Glenn and the whole team, we are extremely happy with our new space and we highly recommend. (See pictures for beginning to end)

After receiving fantastic customer service from the initial phone call to the appointment and quote, we chose Lee and the team from West Yorkshire Garage Conversions to build our new office/TV room. The team members were all so friendly and a pleasure to have working in the house. They went the extra mile to make sure we were happy and were patient and worked around us when our flooring didn't arrive on time. They even let me start painting before they had really finished and were careful with the finishing touches! I would not hesitate to recommend Lee and the team and we are delighted with the final result - thank you!

Lee and the WYGC team converted our internal garage into a playroom and the results were fantastic. We first received a professional and thorough written quotation detailing the work and ensuring all our requirements were captured. The work started really quickly and everything happened when it was supposed to. Four important observations during the work: 1) the guys definitely put a full days work in. 2) they went beyond expectations when it came to cleaning up any mess and minimise any impact whilst I worked from home. 3) everyone was very friendly and professional. 4) social distancing and COVID-19 was taken very seriously. Lee personally kept a very close eye on progress and was there to answer any questions and keep us updated every step of the way. Lee, like myself, has a keen eye for detail and the quality of the finish is clearly important to him and I found it top notch. I wanted all work to be signed off by building control to avoid any potential future difficulties when coming to sell, and this was all handled by West Yorkshire Garage Conversions with no trouble in getting the necessary paperwork from the council - they were happy to incorporate all the requirements necessary into the works. The project was completed on time, in budget, and was exactly as promised. Cheers Lee and the team!
