BEWARE AJ does come across well at first contact, but I quickly became suspicious of him from out first meet. He informed me he charges a call out fee to quote, fair enough I thought - it was only a nominal amount to cover travel costs. The agreed amount went up when the invoice came in which I had to challenge. Then, when we met, he arrived with no measuring equipment, took no photos and talked over me while I explained what I wanted. I asked for a copy of his insurance and qualifications and things Began can to change. He became defensive, questioned me, asking why I needed it and that none of his other clients ever asked for it. I had to chase to get a quote, which was then over priced. He said he was flexible on price, so when I gave him the other quotes he slashed his price by 50%! At first I thought he was just keen, but then at the second meet became insulting, telling me he was disappointed with me as a client. When I finally took the job from him, I received multiple abusive emails telling me his other clients were better than me. Im not saying dont use him, but ask for his insurance and qualifications and make up your own mind.
