Who knew getting a new pair of glasses could be such fun? Picked mine up this week from the wonderful Mel - I haven't laughed so much in ages! Her enthusiasm for her work and for finding the right pair for my face shape and my personality was hugely impressive. Utterly brilliant service. Looking forward to appearing in the "Wall of Frames!"

Superb service. By far the best and most friendly opticians in my 50 years of wearing glasses. I have four pairs, three have the same prescription but are for different uses, and one is for office/computer use. Whilst the office lenses most definitely needed updating, the optician said that the change in the other three was very marginal and that since I could read the bottom line of the eye test she really couldn't recommended changing them. Also, this was the first optician I have ever been to that didn't invite me to choose new frames. My current frames are only two years old, are still perfect, and were expensive. Most importantly, when the new lenses arrived they were perfect. I wear verifocals and I've had several past experiences of the prescription, or the manufacture, or even both, not being spot on. Even when I eventually move away from Braford-on-Avon I'll return to Nixon & Shaw.
