BMT School of Music

I signed my StepDaughter up to BMT School Of Music after she took an interest in learning to play the guitar. She has been going for a couple of months now and we can see he progress being made, the lessons with Jake are well structured and taken at a slow enough pace so as not to overwhelm new starters.

Sam is an excellent guitar teacher, his lessons are really engaging, and it really helps that he speaks to the children on his own level - really fun, but not at all patronising. Our son has never been so enthusiastic about a club or hobby until now, and is really keen to attend every session (a far cry from other clubs where hes quickly lost interest!) - we also find the extra online catch-up/practice resource super helpful. Another great element of the BMT group lesson structure is the way Sam brings the children together in their own band from day one - the kids come up with a name, and Sam even hosts an online event interviewing the children and making them feel like mini-rockstars. Importantly, this event also gives children a sense of what they can achieve if they practice. Weve been amazed at how much our son has learnt in just 4.5 months - the no-pressure, really fun and inclusive nature of Sams lessons are helping ignite a long-lasting love for music, thank you Sam!

Sam has been teaching my son guitar for the past couple of months and it's amazing to see the growth so far. This is a huge testament to Sam's tutoring. Sam clearly understands how to teach 1 to 1 and in groups and his encouragement and the dynamic of the tutoring really suits my son. The gamified programme and the use of the belt system (like karate etc.) really gives something for the students to aim for, keeping the learning fun, but also learning the techniques of playing guitar. I highly recommend Sam and BMT school of music

Our foster child with special needs discovered he had a talent for singing so we enrolled him with BMT and watched him flourish and gain confidence and they brought out his singing talent. We are so grateful for their time and patience which enhanced and enriched his life. He loved it.

Great place, I've learned loads. Tutors are helpful and have really helped me to expand my musical pallete. Really recommend for both young people and adults.
