An absolute joke of a surgery. I rang up for an appointment and had to wait three weeks for a telephone appointment which I accepted as it wasnt urgent and just assumed that was the wait standard wait time. The day of the appointment came and I was told it would be a morning telephone call with Dr Bellis. I rearranged meetings for work and explained to colleagues that Dr Bellis could ring at any minute so I may have to jump into a meeting room. Then to my surprise at around 11 I got a text saying he had rung but hadnt been able to get through to me I had no missed calls on my phone. I then had to ring the surgery which took 40 minutes to get another appointment! I explained that Dr Bellis had not rung me and I was told signal in BoA is variable, I explained I was actually in the centre Bristol at work (I.e. the biggest city in the south west where mobile signal is abundant I was also ringing on the very phone that Dr Bellis had failed to ring!) After ending up in tears on the phone I was booked in for the duty doctor who Im now told will ring me any time past 2:30pm queue me now having to rearrange my work meetings this afternoon. This whole set up is a complete farce and can easily be avoided if appointments were back to being face to face. Ive been absolutely appalled at the service received from the health centre since I moved back ranging from mucking up my prescriptions to this issue. Its frustrating that they have a complete monopoly in BoA. I dont believe that my issue is to do with strains on the NHS its a process issue which is new more reliable processes were adopted could easily be resolved.

Recently moved to BOA and was told by my old practice that I had to move to this one due to area coverage I am absolutely horrified by the service, which is atrocious. I have tried over 10 times this week to contact them. First you have to wait in a queue before you can even be put through to their telephone line, to then wait even longer. I waited 1.45 hour to get through to there line . To be told a pharmacy person will call me back in 2 weeks! Waited for this call on my allocated day. Nothing! Another wait of nearly 2 hours to ask why I havent had a call. After failed attempt after another I eventually rang 111 instead I now need a sick note for my work and have no hope I can talk to anyone, so I will have to pay privately for an online doctor. They dont have an email and the only way to contact them is by waiting hours in a queue for a pharmacist not a doctor to call me back in 2 weeks Ill loose my job if I wait that long!!! Absolutely disgusting, and because you have to be in a catchment area for a doctor, I cant go anywhere else. This is most definitely the worst practice I have ever encountered Dont move to BOA unless your so rich you can afford to go private. I will be contacting my MP as this is absolutely disgusting

Helped me out of a bind really quickly over an admin point on my NHS records which would have wrecked my holiday if they didn't change it as promptly as they did. Thank you!

Dr Davies is one of the loveliest, most professional and knowledgeable GP I've ever had. Thank you Dr Davies for being my doctor and heping me with menopause challenges

Good service once you get to see a doctor, but trying to do so is almost impossible due to ludicrous hold times. They desperately need to introduce a 'call back' system.
