        A lovely example of an old church in excellent condition. Even though tiny & on first look doesn't seem to be a lot there,it's a wealth of information if you're prepared to spend a little time reading. Literally overshadowed by the mother church,it's in a peaceful location.

        The Saxon Church or Saint Lawrence's Church is one of the few complete Anglo Saxon Churches in the country and is a beautiful sight . Reportedly founded by Saint Adhelm around 700 although from what 8 understand there are ongoing disagreements about this . Nevertheless it is stunning I love the simplicity of these old small places of worship . Bradford on Avon is amazing and this place greatly adds to all it offers . It is a Grade 1 listed monument and quite rightly too .
