        Feb 2022: Just returned from wonderful week in Saxon Maybank Stags Retreat. The lodge was absolutely beautiful, had everything we needed for our stay and the wine chocolates and milk in fridge where very welcome indeed after travelling. The hot tub was heaven after a long day exploring, looking at the relaxing views across the fields or later at the stars, and drinking wine (despite being rather windswept on couple of nights!). When sun was out the decking space was ideal spot for breakfast or to read a book with a coffee. We loved Durdle door, and Lyme Regis, lunch in Axminster at River cottage kitchen was delicious.
