Hidden away from the hurly-burly of usual life is this lovely old church which has an unusual Saxon base to the tower which has been added to, probably from the 14c to the 18c, The other end of the church has red brick built structures, added by the Branthwaite Family. Although I don't think they add to the outside aesthetic they greatly add to the interior, with a large window at the far end and a couple of smaller ones to one side, they a beautiful and add so much light. around the church are left to grow areas with undisturbed walks to complete the whole experience.
