Great pub, lovely staff and a perfect location. The meal was mixed in quality. The starters were great, definitely no complaints there. Sadly the roasts were not as good. My husband had the tiniest bit of chicken on his roast and remarked that he was glad he had a starter. My roast beef dinner was not very warm but it was actually very tasty. It was disappointing and in hindsight we should have said something.

Very good food. The chips were nice and crispy, the burger could have done with more salad (I opted out of fried onions, I much prefer raw sliced onions, or caramelised onions), but the brownie was exceptionally moreish and not too rich. Decent selection of drinks.
