Slow, lazy, inept, shirking, ignorant, clueless are some of the words used to describe this post office. I dread using their service.

I dread going to this post office, theres always a huge line and no urgency from staff. They have 3 or 4 tills but only one was open-the second from last time that I went. I waited for about 20 minutes. There was another member of staff wandering around behind the man was serving. Seeing the long line I couldnt understand why she didnt open another till- but thats just the attitude at this post office. The woman in front of me was clearly irritated, by the time she was seen her frustration was evident by the tone in her voice. The man who was serving her noticed and told her that he wasnt going to stand for her attitude. (A younger man with glasses) I couldnt believe it, this is a customer facing role! Whether he thinks that she has a bad attitude or not he should be apologising for the delay and giving a reason as to why only one till was open! This was a bad experience but the most recent time I went to this post office it was even worse. I encountered the most sullen, rude woman behind the till (a middle aged/older lady of Indian decent I think) She had just finished serving the person in front of me but wasnt calling me over, a few minutes went by I assumed she was free. I made my way over, she sulkily said to me as she saw me approach that she wasnt ready yet. I waited back in line. When she eventually did call me over, there was no smile, no effort what so ever. Just an irritated tone in her voice, I put my parcel on the scale she looked at me blankly and said is that it. Sighing she took the payment from me. I walked away feeling really annoyed. I work in customer service and these are not the right people for the job. Miserable, unprofessional and rude. I cant believe they get paid for this.

Only one member of staff on a Saturday, when majority of working people have time to go to the post office. The waiting line over an hour, that is outrageous
