Boundary House Surgery

Informed of the incorrect location for appointment and then ignored by receptionist as she was going home and then after 2 hours told by the doctor Id missed the appointment and I couldnt be seen, which was totally inaccurate. Therefore my very sick 5 year old was kept waiting and not given the care he needed despite being categorised as urgent care required! TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE.

I was seen fast for an emergency appointment today and received the care I needed. The staff is polite and professional.

30mins to get through to reception. Asked to book an appointment but was told fully booked for that day - no problem. When I enquired about making a booking for another day, I was told they are at full capacity. When asking for confirmation that I could not book for any day other than the current one, I was given a response that felt as if the receptionist was frustrated with me. After commenting on their attitude and trying to explain I was checking I understood correctly, I was told 'goodbye' and hung up on. I understand GP surgeries are busy and taking constant calls but the customer service I received was possibly the worst I've ever experienced when trying to book an appointment...

Most receptionists will lie and tell you that your prescription will be done and ready for you to collect at your chosen pharmacy but that wont be true. If youre like me and run out of medication out of nowhere then youll definitely want to try another surgery. I cant even tell you how many times the Drs and receptionists have lied to me that my urgent medication will be ready for the same day when in fact it was never approved. They genuinely dont understand the word urgent or the words Ive completely run out. Im currently at the pharmacy to see if my medication is ready (as the receptionist once again promised me it would be there today) and BIG SHOCK, its not here or been approved. So typical. This means Im forced to go another day of morphine which I wouldnt be on unless I needed it and if these Drs felt even a fraction of the pain I have every second of the day they would lose their minds. The only reason this review isnt a 1 star is because theres two receptionists and one doctor that are surprisingly really kind.

There have been a lot of disappointing occasions far too many to write but today was the last straw and felt we needed to be heard. 91st in the telephone que this morning, eventually got through and was offered an appointment same day but no transport so they advised to ring 111 after they shut at 6.30, called 111 before that and was told I would get a call from Drs surgery, needless to say it didnt happen, called 111 this evening yes I need to be seen within 24hrs , and refer me back to surgery , never ending merry go roundI know we have a shortage and excess patients!!! But the system at Forest Health is broken and needs a good shake up!!! Yes I hear there are changes in place that should be brought in around April , action speaks louder than words
