As a 65 year old Dyslexic person it seems more to do with a few people trying to make money rather than a help!

We live in UK from six years and their rules doesnt allow to help my son. Read what is wrote in the form sent from them, picture explain everything. I felt discriminated even if dyslexia assessment cost 515. It is called no profit but that is the amount to pay for help your relatives. It is clearly evident that if you come from another country or speak two languages you cannot do be helped. That is Called CIVILIZATION!

Tried calling the helpline multiple times. On hold in a queue each time for approx 45 minutes. As soon as you get to next in the queue, it jumps you back to the main menu to start the queuing process all over again! Not a helpline if you cant actually get to speak to someone and get help! Frustrating!

Poor customer service if you do any courses expect a 1-2 month or more reply to an email or several and also they can and will change your course mid-way through so you can't complete it and then they will say they don't offer refunds, but you can purchase it again. I Won't be using again Reed courses are much better.

Two issues: 1) treatment from BDA representative was below expectations; 2) lack of transparency about the 120 BDA fee. The way I was treated by the BDA representative over email fell short of my expectations. I voiced a concern about whether the assessment was suitable for people with English as a second language, and the representative started questioning my English skills, and stated vague information about the assessment. They did not answer my question. They offered me the option of one consultant "to select from in my area" (Central London). The consultant has been kind and answered my question about English as a second language. I learned about BDA fees from the consultant: a 120 fee included in the assessment price. I did not see this amount or that a fee was payable to BDA on their website or their request form, and I would like more transparency on that.
