Mike is an absolutely great teacher. Hes calm and patient, and explains things clearly. Hes very skilled with bass and guitar, and I would highly recommend him to anyone interested in learning how to play.

My daughter learns guitar lessons from Mike and she always looking forward to the class. Mike is very friendly , interactive and teaches well as per the way my daughter wanted it to be. its been long journey with Mike as my daughter started learning guitar from the age of 5 and has picked up so well.

I started to learn on a whim as a complete beginner, and Im really enjoying my lessons with Mike. The focus is on playing simple parts along with well-known songs so it really keeps it interesting and fun whilst also learning the basics and useful exercises for practice. After just a few lessons I have a repertoire of songs which feels very satisfying! Hes very knowledgable and great at sharing that knowledge.

Mike is an excellent teacher. He is very patient and above all makes learning fun. I had never picked up an instrument and had no previous musical experience prior to getting my bass guitar as a 60th birthday present. Right from the start Mike provided me with the resources to play along to songs I know and love. Its always exciting to get a new song that will stretch my technique and under Mikes guidance I have progressed to a level I never thought I was capable achieving.

After putting off learning to play guitar for 50 years and finding online courses a bit unsatisfactory I took the plunge and booked some lessons with Mike. Mike has a relaxed style of teaching , with an emphasis on playing songs, he is always encouraging and easy to get along with. One of the key things for me was getting good feedback something you definitely dont get from an online course. Ive been having regular lessons with Mike for a while now, at my age Im unlikely to be the next guitar hero but at least the cat no longer makes a dash for the door when she sees me pick the guitar up and even my wife has said that sounded quite good" . Perhaps old dogs can learn new tricks if they are taught well.
