We've chosen Crown Development Services from a handful of companies and we're really glad we did. From the moment the project started it was on schedule and it's now been finished to a high standard and met our expectations. We have minimum experience with any sort of construction work, so it was great that we could fully lean on the whole team, Tom, Lina and especially the main project lead Leigh with all our questions, ideas and concerns. Leigh is very professional, always seem to think of every little detail, he proposed many practical solutions and mainly he is super responsive and it was great we could lean on him throughout the entire project. We can't recommend him and the rest of the team enough!!

The team at Crown were great. From Tom coming out and giving us our quote to our builder John, even the scaffolders they use were great. We are so please with the job they have done. The loft conversion brilliant. Our builder, John was amazing, his attention to detail was great. He really cared about his work and kept us upto date each step of the way. Would definitely recommend Crown Developement if you are looking for a loft conversion.

The 5 stars given here are for Leigh, the onsite fitter, and the trades who provided a good service/work. Ultimately we have ended up with something that mostly resembles what we were hoping to achieve. For our experience overall we would rate 3 stars. We always had speedy responses, clear, friendly communication/action from Lina and Karim during build stage, thank you. However, having looked at all the issues and sizable compromises we have had to make along the way, this has fundamentally come down to not having anyone actually sit and discuss or advise on the plans/designs with us before major work started..yet numerous times we raised our concerns over major elements (head height, stair measurements and location of hot water tank) prior to any work starting. It felt very much like a factory process. This would likely not be such an issue if the time was taken to understand the key design factors for the customer before construction begins eg whats important to us, what were flexible on and some helpful suggestions would have been very welcome! I have spoken to Tom after build completed, and pleased to hear they have taken onboard and implemented suggestions I have made which could have prevented a number of issues and compromises experienced during our build. This is primarily the attention to detail before work started and ensuring regular check ins from Crown management team during the build and improvement on internal communication as the onsite teams were very aware of our issues at the time. For Info: Scaffold was up start October, our build work started mid November (2 fitters started but then left the company due to unforeseen circumstances before any structural work started..which we were understanding and patient with), final work completed 2nd week of Feb.

We have recently had our loft completed, and are so impressed with the work and space it has created. From start to finish Chris and Calum were friendly helpful and answered any questions we had. We were told 12 weeks, but it was complete in 6, Chris works so fast great guy. behind the scenes Lina is great getting things to site to avoid hold ups. When choosing a company for a loft conversion, we did the obvious thing and got a few companies to quote and discuss the job. We found Crown with a simple Google search as we wanted to see if there was a local company to offer another quote for comparison. We ended up choosing Crown because, above all others, they seemed to know their stuff and be genuinely invested in doing right by us. We loved that they are a local, family run business. And this really shows. The quote provided was competitive and very comprehensive which we were very happy with. We managed to get a build slot earlier than anticipated and Crown were brilliant from the start. We were very fortunate to have Chris and Callum as our main guys doing the work and we honestly cannot recommend these guys more highly! Right from the start, before any work had started, Chris came to have a chat and a look around. From this point he was giving his ideas and insights which saved us both time and complications later on. He managed to give ideas we'd never thought of, but wish we had! We immediately had a schedule and build plan from Chris and we knew we were in good hands. The speed at which these guys work was astounding. And, to have such a quality job as well! We saw progress right from the start and were kept informed and up to date all the way through. Every single one of the trades we had in were brilliant. Genuinely really nice guys each with incredible work. I never like to pay people for jobs I can do myself, but all of these trades exceeded expectation. Special thanks to Chris and Callum for all their work. Their work was fantastic and we genuinely miss having them around. Fully trustworthy, honest guys. Even, on more than one occasion, Callum would look after our 2 year old triplets and 3 year old whilst we chatted to Chris on the next plan. Another special thanks to plumbers Steve and Brogan. These guys are machines and genuinely seemed like they'd do anything for you.
