If you decide to return anything to these incompetent clowns they will take 2 weeks to "confirm the refund" (to be clear thats 2 weeks from the date they signed for the package to indicate it had been received), and then another week to issue your refund. A complete and utter scam. I'd advise you to try every other computer manufacturer on earth before buying anything from these incompetents.

absolutely hopeless took a day off work because they scheduled a time to come and repair my brand-new less than three months old laptop that I have spent over 1500 on because the cheap parts used to build this laptop with a high pricetag. luckily, I have purchased three years guarantee with it. first the touchpad stopped working then the camera stopped working, and before that the sound stop working. in all honesty, I wanted to get a Apple Mac, but my friend recommended me and convinced me to go with dell, I truly regret making that decision.

Dell (lack of) support, 3 weeks on, multiple emails and zero response. You would have thought Alienware users would at least warrant a response..

1000 laptop failed (complete shutdown while surfing the net and no longer responsive) 3 weeks out of 12 month warranty. To repair they want a minimum of 48 to start a diagnostic. Horrendous customer service. An absolute web to navigate. Very difficult to get the information to speak to a human (not yet achieved). Laptops shouldn't fail after 12 months. Should not have to pay repair fees and service fees after such a short amount of time. Will be looking into claims using the Sale of Good Act, which states laptops should be good for 6 years. Wish me luck...

Ordered inspiron 1500 on 29/09; delivered 03/10 ; hard failure 13/10 and reported 14/10 ; tried online help but they failed to fix; ordered usb with windows to reinstall shipped 17/10 ; online support tried install but failed 18/10; sent laptop back to Dell for repairs 21/10 ; received email asking me to define problem (the online help system has all of this already) 25/10. Almost a month after buying a new laptop, i still have no benefit and as it crashed between backups of data transfer, its causing a lot if duplication of work not impressed with their ability to solve problems although for me, once I found out how the support system worked, it did go quite well. I found children playing in the background a bit off putting trying to hear what the support person was saying.
