As a Fox I love a flying fox, the other equipment is fun too. I like that it exists and hasn't been 'Health and Safety'ed out of existing. There are some stones standing in a circle, theres no safety matting, just good old grass, and it's up to you what you do with them (my inclination would be to jump from 1 to the other as I am half ape and half fox). And everybody is desended from apes, and so we tend to stay on things that we climb rather than fall off them(like we are ferrets). The greatest risk comes from flying foxes knocking over small children, so monitor your preschool children and tell your older children do the same.
