We were lucky to find Custom Design Technologies, as we had explored the usual route for creating enclosures using the moulding approach. For us, this was an expensive prospect at the early stages of development. We had also looked at 3D Printing; however, for a finished product, this was not going to give us the outcome we were after. CDT spent time with us to understand our needs and came up with a very functional design. This approach helped us to provide a high-quality enclosure at a price which made sense without the need or expense of a mould. The team are responsive and great to work with.

I have worked with Custom Design Technologies for around 12 years at various companies. CDT offer a completely bespoke service to help ensure the products are housed in an attractive enclosure that is cost effective and offers the benefits of easier assembly. From prototypes through to production they supported me with design input to ensure nothing was missed and the final product was perfect. The fact that I was able to get a fully bespoke enclosure without the huge cost of injection moulding and in a fraction of the time was great. The guys in the office are always helpful and keen to support and can offer good suggestions on where to make improvements or add flexibility to your design. Overall a great company to work with & I will continue to use them on all future projects.

My business relationship with Custom Design Technologies started way back in the early 1990's. My company was looking for a organisation that could design and manufacture a simple plastic enclosure for our 'shop floor' data collection product. We were not expecting the volume required for an injection moulding project and we wanted the flexibility to make design changes without massive costs. In my opinion CDT are unique as they provide a great service on several levels: 1. Concept & Design. The team will work with you to discuss your requirements making experience based suggestions to assist in the process. 2. Prototyping. Prototyping is very competitively priced with test units being turn round in weeks if required. 3. Manufacture. Again, very efficient with consistent accuracy. CDT have help design and manufacture over 20,000 enclosures for timeware over the past 25 years. 5 out of 5 stars.
