Downtown Diner

My son and I decided to try a new place for breakfast and this was a great choice. The food was fresh, hot, tasty, and did not have to wait long. Let's just say I've found my new breakfast spot....

Used to come to this place with the one name and enjoyed it but havent been since. Went in the other day to a disappointing experience. The first red flag was the initial waitress, I asked for a table for two, the waiter sighed and said just sit anywhere. Not off to a great start. We began to look through the menu and the choice was reasonable for a small place. Whilst browsing, a strong smell of urine filled the Diner and was pungent. I should have left at this point. I ordered a burger and my partner ordered a wrap with some chips to share. The second waitress who came to take our order seemed to actually want her job which redeemed the experience slightly. She was polite. The food arrived and my burger was as described, my partners wrap was missing bacon but for the sake of just wanting to leave we did not bring this up at the time. The burger was bland with little flavour as was the wrap and fries. I then overheard the initial waitress making an unprofessional comment to another customer which topped off the experience. We finished what we could and left. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this place to anyone unless there is a huge shake up. The only good thing I can say about the diner is the aesthetics were pleasing.
