        Very poor food and service today. Slow delivery, overcooked, reheated and not very warm when it arrived. To top it all, when I complained they gave a canned apology and didn't offer any recompense. I asked for a refund, they refused because they decided that we had eaten it so, in their view, it was satisfactory. The fact is that our dog ate a lot of it and we packed some up for the dog - more fit for canine consumption than human. Very poor, very rude. I really wish Greene King did not own my local.

        It is a good pub, plenty of parking, garden are and reasonable food. Sometimes the service can he a bit slow at busy times
