ABSOLUTELY SHOCKING! We called in on a trip back from the Cotswold it was a Bank Holiday and we were glad to see the pub was serving food as we were very hungry! We ordered Mezze Hummus. It was tasty enough but some of the flatbread was warm and some was so cold it was like it had just come out of the fridge! Our main courses came suspiciously quickly. We hadn't even finished the starter. Presumed it had just been reheated. The crab linguine was stodgy, bland and only slightly warm it soon became cold. The Sauerkraut on top of the Porcetta was freezing, again straight from the fridge, not even slightly heated . The quiche was the smallest portion I've ever seen but did actually taste ok. We ate what we could as we were very hungry and nobody came to ask if our food was ok. On asking for the bill we explained to the waitress how cold our food had been. We just got a sorry and a bill for the whole amount. I did expect something would be taken off for the cold food! Will not be returning, no hope for this pub if they can't even warm up pre-prepared food! Terrible!

Great burgers. We had beef and a vegan burger, we enjoyed them both and well priced. Plus fitted us in in busy day. We went for a walk and saw the beautiful old trees in garden later. Great pub.

Friendly helpful staff, good choices and excellent food on the menu, accommodating for dogs.
