I have 2 lessons with ACE driving school. At first everything was fine however I had my doubts after our second lesson as he mention I would need 30 lessons... bare in mind I have had 35 in a manual car and was almost up to test standard until I got nervous and decided to change to a automatic. Also this worried me and made me doubt his driving skills. (I have spoken to 4 driving instructors regarding the parallel park to ask their professional opinions all of which replied " cow boy instructor" On request I did the parallel park manoeuvre which I had been taught by my previous instructor. I was then shown how to-do it his way which resulted in me being super close to the car in front and also a FULL lock on the steering wheel. I have always been under the impression that having the steering wheel on full lock when parking is bad as when you pull out you don't know which direction your going in, also the swing of the full lock is hard to straighten up and can take some time. so it means pulling out onto the other side on the road which can result in smashing into a parked or a moving car. I was willing to give it another go as I'm desperate to pass my test. I sent him a text asking if he works evenings or weekend I was ignored for week when I resent the same message I was given a very rude and blunt text saying what time he works. I have not heard since. As a 19 year old female I would not recommend this driving instructor at ALL Steer clear....
