        Fantastic Greek Grocer and Deli. Courteous and friendly service. Great selection of Greek/Greek Cypriot sourced produce. It's about quality and range, not quantity. Not a local, but always worth the journey for me on a Sunday morning to stock up our larder: rarities like Zalatina for Xmas, and top quality staples including Halvas, Kolokasi, Poules, Lountza, Louganiga/Pastirmas, Lahana, Trahanas, and everything else imaginable, including a wide assortment of olive oils. With calming and contemplative Greek Orthodox chanting playing quietly in the background, Demos makes for a very pleasant Sunday morning's shopping indeed, working as an antidote to the mind-numbing soulessness and sterility of the big supermarkets.
