        I have been visiting Mellwaters on holidays for over 55 years and I absolutely love the whole place. We started off camping, then moved on to a caravan when there was a camp site. I love Bowes and Barnard Castle - so many happy memories. It is amazing what Sally, Phillip and Andrew have done with the cow byre and hay loft - the cottages are beautiful and contain everything you would ever need for the perfect stay. I do hope we manage to get back one day for another relaxing holiday. Barbara and Terry Burrough
