I always try and support local businesses but having received awful service here it's hard to recommend. If you have a parcel to drop off the staff arbitrarily decide whether to take it or not and the manager Karim was condescending and rude. I'm happy to travel further for better service in future.

I concur with the previous review about parcels. I ordered a bottle of aftershave from Ebay, and decided as I wasn't going to be in, that the convenience of having it delivered to the local shop made sense for delivery options. Little did I know that this whole process would become bureaucratic and drawn out. The shop owner, firstly said that the parcel wasn't delivered. Then he asked for a QR code, which Ebay had not sent me, but what I did have was the reference that matched the parcel he was holding in his hand. Despite seeing my email confirmation from Ebay he refused to hand over the parcel. His attitude was quite dismissive and surly to be honest, he couldn't accept that I was the genuine recipient. Then after a 10 minute protracted conversation he said he could send me an email that would give me the required QR code. Why make such a big deal out of it, if this was the solution in the first place!!??? So I pulled off the confirmation email and he finally handed over the parcel. The owner/manager of this shop has a serious attitude problem when something goes wrong, and is not prepared to take a pragmatic approach to solving the problem, instead being dismissive to everything but his own business. Quite frankly he shouldn't be handling parcels if this is his attitude, and I for one am not happy to support a local business that at all levels is an expensive local shop and lacking in basic customer service skills. I would urge others who see this to do the same.
