        We visited on a bank holiday and it was very busy. Its not the cheapest day out as you pay per person to drive in, if you walk in its free. Disappointed about the lack of childens play areas. The food in the restaurant was OK but small portions guys so if you eat a lot your going to go back to buy more. On the plus side the gardens are nice and the staff are friendly.

        A great place to walk on a nice day whether you are young or old. Go in the week as weekends can be very busy with queues to get in. Two cafes, the old one above the stables is best. Deer roam around, but may hide, so you don't always see them. 21 for 2 adults + 2 kids.
