I've asked 3 times for a reply to my complaint. There's still no reply so I guess I'll have to go to the PALS service who deal with complaints

The receptionist said she'd book me an appointment with the doctor, he'd then decide if I need to be referred.
I then asked how that appointment would go. Would he just talk to me, and then decide.
"Oh no!" she said. "He'll examine you and then refer you if necessary "
I'm glad I asked!
I told her that I was not comfortable being examined by a male doctor.
So I'm now seeing a female.
Never in all my years (I'm 41) have I ever seen a male doctor (other than during pregnancy/birth) for an internal examination.
And how VERY UNPROFESSIONAL for the receptionist to not ask me whether I would prefer a male/female doctor.

He is the most arrogant, patronising, and obtuse practitioner I have ever known to be actively practicing.
He is unwilling to listen - in general, speaking/ranting over the top of you - and literally laughs at genuine feedback and concerns.
A "Doctor" like that should not be practicing. Bowburn surgery needs to vet their GPs more appropriately. Care givers ought to be caring, it is prerequisite for the profession.
