Been coming to this kebab shop for over 30 years. The food is consistently excellent. The staff are always welcoming and go the extra mile. The prices are reasonable and the portion sizes are great. Most definitely the best kebab shop in the area.

Balman kebab very good takeaway restaurant in roman road, kebab is delicious they also have Indian takeaway very good, service is brilliant, I recommend this restaurant to everyone. you can order from website and call them up. Always a regular customer.

This was my absolute fav kebab house since it opened in the 70's I think. Sadly, in the last 2 years, it has gone down hill rapidly. Their Extra Large Combi Kebab has gone from 11.90 to a whopping 17.99 in a year. It also contains a lot less meat. They use tricks like, instead of using chunks of chicken for a shish, they thinly slice the chunks, so you get a LOT LESS in the kebab. Their chips in pitta, is now 3.99 and barely has a handful of chips in a small pitta. Compare this to Limehouse Kebab where the portions are very generous, and the quality is way beyond Balmans. I'm very sad to write this. I miss the old Balmans.
