Beautiful setting for a beautiful building that you might not even notice when walking past since you can walk on its green roof.

Lovely little park in Mile End. We actually came to the pavilion specifically for a concert organised by the BBC for Earth Day in which local residents were invited to a live Radio 3 recording of Max Richter, Elena Urioste and the ethnically diverse strings section of the orchestra, Chineke! It was an incredible showcase of neoclassical music which we really enjoyed, and seeing one piece in particular - one of my favourites, On The Nature Of Daylight - was a really memorable experience.

Incompetent staff who double booked for the date we required and then continued to ghost us rather than inform us of his mistake. Wasted several days.
