I attended the first Private Practice Ninja Business Retreat in Faversham in November 2019. What a brilliantly organised event this was with superb content. Yes, it was expensive and it meant that I was out of my business for 4 days, but it was worth every penny. I have learned so many useful things which will be of enormous value to my own business and to those of the other clinicians to whom I provide a service.

I joined the Private Practice Ninja academy, initially out of curiosity, to see how it might help my private practice to develop. Little did I realise what a lifeline it would provide during the pandemic and various lockdowns. It crossed my mind that I might be throwing money away but it's probably been one of my shrewdest PP investments. I was concerned at the beginning that there were a lot of therapists and that it might not be applicable to my practice but this misconception rapidly evaporated. For me, the multidisciplinary nature of the group is a bonus and a real positive. Being part of the PP Ninja Academy has allowed my practice to flourish where so many have floundered during lockdown. There are many lessons to be learned about private practice and the academy provides a great forum to learn and improve. Business tips have been picked up and so many ideas that I'd never have considered if I'd been an ostrich with head in the sand. My favourite thing about being a member of the academy is that it feels like a second family. Everyone is very supportive of each other and we are a ready audience to bounce ideas off. I've made many new professional contacts who have become integral colleagues in my practice. Finally, a review of the academy would be incomplete without a mention of Cath who runs the academy. She really 'gets' private practice and her vivacious character is infectious, making the whole academy experience a pleasurable and very worthwhile experience. 5 stars doesn't seem enough. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend joining the academy. I'm a London based Hospital Consultant experienced in PP and never thought I'd learn so much and pick up so many excellent tips along the way. We had a rather dated looking website for our physiotherapy business A2Z Elite Health which was very much in need of a complete overhaul. In particular we needed a website which reflected our unique way of working, showcased our ability and above all would serve as a focal point for all our marketing efforts. Having the "wow" factor was just a mandatory extra from the incredible team at Private Practice Ninja! From the clear and succinct copy writing, to the professional grade video filming /editing process and all the amazing design work, Cath, Jules and Cheryl were outstanding in the way they worked together with us. Communication was clear and easy, their professionalism and enthusiasm was infectious and produced many a creative lightbulb. And of course there is their unrivalled understanding of the medical world and how it all works. This was certainly the best decision we could have made and we are thrilled with the result. Jules at Private Practise Ninja was so patient and helpful with all things GDPR and techy! Lets be honest I am a physiotherapist not a specialist in GDPR and IT this meant I turned to Jules to help me ensure my GDPR standards and patient privacy information is all up to the right standard. Jules took his time helping me fully understand the process, even with my slow laptop it was never a trouble for Jules to wait patiently while he often would discuss ways in which I could improve my practise going forward with no pressure to do it all at once. It took me a while to get my head around it all but now I feel even more confident to manage my GDPR and online systems!
