The Greenway

Lovely walk from East Ham to Victoria park

This section of the footpath/cycleway mostly flat elevated tarmac with some appealing views of the adjacent territory. Reasonably maintained, more likely to appeal to the jaded urban explorer whos seen it all. This walk unlikely to top any bucket list. Ubiquitous graffiti adds the usual bilious undertone. The Olympic Park and the impressive Victorian Abbey Mills Palace of Sewage proving some distracting focus. Ubiquitous graffiti adds the expected bilious undertone.

Beginning of the Greenway route, which takes you direct to the Olympic Park. Nice little walk, or bicycle ride, with an indie coffee shop near the entrance too with steps down towards the canal. There is a bigger cafe at the end of the Greenway where you can stop for a bite to eat.
