Adam and Stephanie's Moroccan tile workshop in Melbourne (Jan. 2023) was wonderful. Both are excellent, helpful teachers, and there was no rush. Loved every minute of it!

Just completed the two week Spring intensive course. Am not an artist, but learned so much from Richard and Adam in a wonderfully creative environment and can now do things on paper I never thought possible! Loved it lived it loved it.

Ive been taking courses and studying with The Art of Islamic Pattern for around 5 years now, both in their London studio and on the international study trips they run. Both Adam and Richard are wonderful tutors and have an amazing ability to guide students and help them to develop at their own pace. They have been instrumental in my own creative practise and continue to guide and encourage me. Genuine experts in the field of Islamic Patterns they make the journey of discovery hugely enjoyable for every student that attends their classes; and provide multiple options for students to gain both theoretical and practical knowledge in the field of Islamic pattern making across multiple media (geometric analysis, painting, illumination, parquetry, ceramics, wood carving and pigment making to name a few) I call their London studio my Happy Place and hope to continue my studies with them here for many years to come. Highly recommended to anyone considering a short course.
